abject poverty.
The Woke Initiative attempts to explain the

for the prevalent challenges arising from excessive religiosity, particularly
evident in Africa and other devout societies, this journey is propelled by the

disturbing reality of religious leaders exploiting faith to deceive, suppress,
and manipulate individuals. Recent times have witnessed a surge in religious
scandals flooding social media platforms, encompassing reprehensible acts such
as sex scandals, human rights violations, crimes, and other illicit activities
deemed incompatible with religious principles. Hence, there arises a critical
necessity to rouse individuals to the perils associated with blind faith and
the unwarranted veneration of self-proclaimed men of God.
Addressing the "Woke" Concept:
Derived from African American Vernacular English
(AAVE), the term "woke" has evolved to symbolize heightened
awareness, particularly in matters of racial and social justice. The Woke
Initiative aims to create awareness about the potential dangers associated with
organized religions and the idolization of self-proclaimed men of God and
prophets. We will embark on an exploration into uncharted territories of faith,
belief, and the often-hidden perils they may carry. In a world where the
worship of gods has been integral to human history and culture, it becomes
imperative to shed light on the shadows lingering in the background of
religiosity.
